We're hiring! Female Outreach & Engagement Lead

We are seeking a warm, friendly and fantastic outreach and engagement lead to support weekly sessions!

Join our dynamic and growing charity in the heart of East London, using your warm, friendly personality and fantastic outreach and organisational skills to support weekly sessions of trauma-informed yoga and English language for the wellbeing of women seeking sanctuary.

This will include supporting and troubleshooting at weekly sessions and seasonal school holidays activities, meeting and supporting individual women to attend, liaising and visiting local hostels, and building referral pathways and partnerships to identify and reach new women.

You’ll support the Project Lead with your excellent organisational skills, both at weekly sessions and with administration, monitoring and evaluation. You’ll be the main focal point for the 4-5 volunteers who support weekly sessions.

This locally-based role will suit somebody who either lives locally or can easily travel to Tower Hamlets.

This role’s purpose is to ensure GCP’s programmes reach and benefit those people from underserved communities who most need our help. The main focus is our Touching Safe Ground project, which supports female asylum seekers, refugees, and local migrant women, many of whom have suffered trauma, including gender-based violence. Being female is an occupational requirement for effective service provision, exempt under the Equality Act 2010.

Rate of pay
