We're hiring! Facilitators

Top trainer?

Great with people?

Experienced facilitator?

We’re hiring people with outstanding community training, mindfulness and wellbeing expertise to provide transformative experiences for small groups of around 12 isolated, lonely older people.

You will have strong experience of group facilitation, and may have qualifications and experience in therapeutic work, community work, and/or working with elderly or disabled people. Breathworks mindfulness training would be useful, but training can be provided.

As a warm, compassionate person, you’ll be great at building connections with people from all walks of life. Working to an established outline, you’ll deliver high quality 6-week courses and blocks of follow-on sessions which stimulate reflection, sharing, active listening, challenge, and very gentle physical activity, plus occasional 1:1 participant support through telephone calls or local walks.

Supported by regular professional supervision, from time to time you’ll draw on your experience of working with vulnerable groups to respond to safeguarding issues, within GCP’s established frameworks. We welcome applications from Bangla speakers, and are looking to hire several facilitators with a range of skills to join our experienced pool.

Rate of pay

£60 per hour, inclusive of any VAT. The fee level reflects the time commitment we require for a six-week block of sessions, while not offering full days of work.
