Globe Community Project (GCP) is looking for a new Manager to lead on the strategic and operational functions of the charity, to oversee projects, build networks, fundraise for core and project costs, and manage the day to day running of our office. Working alongside our Management Committee, you will be based at our St Margaret’s House office in Bethnal Green (with the ability to work remotely if necessary due to COVID-19), shared with project workers and Triratna Arts. The role is for sixteen hours per week, worked on agreed days. Pay £16 per hour, equivalent to £33,280 per annum pro rata. One year fixed-term contract initially. Six weeks (48 hours) paid holiday per annum. Contract is on a self-employment basis. To start as soon as possible.

About Globe Community Project

Globe Community Project is a Buddhist-inspired charity working to benefit the local community. We are run by a Management Committee made up of people from the local community as well as people practising Buddhism in the Triratna Buddhist Community in and around the London Buddhist Centre. Current projects are: Take Back Your Life, a mindfulness course for people with chronic pain; The language of Wellbeing, a yoga and English language project for women refugees, migrants and asylum seekers; and Wellbeing for Elders, a group wellbeing programme for older people.
