A celebration of food, friendship and generosity

HOST A FUN FEAST CELEBRATING FRIENDSHIP (AND FOOD) IN FEBRUARY 2025
AND HELP US RAISE CRITICAL FUNDS TO ADDRESS LONELINESS!

What’s Happening?

The idea is simple. We’d love you to gather your friends together, to cook for them and to invite them to donate to Globe Community Project in return.

We aim to raise £4,000 through feasts organised by individuals like you throughout February 2025. It’s an ambitious target, but we believe with your help, we can achieve it!

How does it work?

Register as a host, and we’ll send you a SUPPORT pack

What does Globe Community Project do?

Globe Community Project is a small charity building connections amongst isolated people and underserved groups in and around east London. Our programmes help people develop the key qualities, supports and relationships they need to improve their wellbeing.

During the past year, we helped bring connection and friendship to 168 lonely older people and recently-arrived refugee women, with over 85% seeing improvements in their wellbeing.

In 2025, with your help we plan to double the number of people we reach!

If between us we could invite 160 people to feast with us this February, and they each donated an average of £25, then we could provide 20 newly-arrived refugee women with yoga classes, English language skills, connection and belonging, every week for a whole year.

After you register to host a feast, a full support pack will be sent to you, and if you have any queries concerning this fundraiser please email us at gcp@globecommunityproject.org
